I’m Usama Badar, the founder of Glimsie. I started this site because so much home, beauty, and style advice feels stuck on repeat the same trends, the same looks, the same copy paste tips. It’s easy to get lost in all that noise. I wanted to build something different.
At Glimsie, home and decor come first. We look for ideas that feel fresh, livable, and true to the way you actually use your space, from small styling tricks that make a real difference to full room inspiration that goes beyond the usual Pinterest clones. Alongside that, we bring the same eye to beauty and fashion routines and looks that fit real life, not just whatever happens to be trending.
My approach is hands-on. I’ve spent years experimenting with spaces, layouts, color, and styling not by reading theory, but by trying things, getting them wrong, refining, and finding what really works. That’s why the ideas here aren’t filler or recycled advice. They come from practice, curiosity, and experience.
Outside of Glimsie, I’m into photography, design, and travel, all of which shape the way I see a room, an outfit, or a look. They remind me that good ideas are everywhere once you know how to look for them.
